Highest specification, state-of-the-art quay crane

BCT boasts the highest level in Busan New Port in terms of lifting height and trolley speed for all quay cranes to cope with the rapidly changing maritime and port logistics environment. In order to cope with the expansion of operation of mega-sized ships, Our aim to minimize the port stay of vessels at BCT by maximizing the available quay crane per berth.

Automated Yard Crane

Smart remote automation is implemented by adding the truck automation function (ATH) to the end loading type yard crane that boasts the highest speed.

  • Minimization/equalization of crane load to yard through structural design improvement
  • Separate operation of sea and landside by 2 cranes per block
  • one crane will take care of full yard movement durting preventive maintenance/breakdown

Robust Straddle Carrier

A straddle carrier equipped with 8 wheels is introduced to minimize the effect of soft ground satisfying requirement of the national environmental standards.
